Adekunle Adéyẹmí (b. 1990) is the visionary behind Power Africa Now (PAN), a company that has electrified over 1,200 rural Nigerian villages through decentralized solar microgrids since 2020. His pay-as-you-go payment system and community ownership model have made clean energy accessible to 2 million previously unconnected households.

Innovative Business Model

Adéyẹmí's 2021 introduction of the SolarCoin cryptocurrency system allows users to earn energy credits through waste recycling.
