Indian social entrepreneur revolutionizing menstrual health education across South Asia

Aditi Gupta is the founder of FloHub, a Mumbai-based social enterprise that has distributed over 5 million menstrual hygiene kits and educational materials across India since 2021. Her initiative Menstrual Matters uses AI chatbots in local languages to combat misinformation and taboos surrounding menstruation. Partnering with UNESCO and UNICEF, Aditi's programs have reached 2.1 million schoolgirls in rural areas through her Pad + Education model that combines reusable sanitary products with STEM workshops. Her 2023 book <《The Red Revolution: Menstruation as Liberation》 became a bestseller in India's non-fiction category. Aditi's work has been featured in National Geographic's Women's Health Innovators series and inspired similar initiatives in Bangladesh and Nepal. By addressing both physical and societal barriers, she has positioned menstrual equity as a cornerstone of women's empowerment in the Global South.
