Argentinian tech entrepreneur revolutionizing sustainable fashion through blockchain innovation

Agustina Di Césare (born 1995) is the founder of Threads for Future, a Buenos Aires-based tech company using blockchain to trace sustainable fashion supply chains. Her 2021 startup developed the 'EthiChain' platform that connects consumers with verified eco-friendly brands through NFTs, currently tracking 85% of Argentina's organic cotton production.

Di Césare pioneered the Closet Revolution initiative in 2022, which repurposes 15 tons of textile waste annually into new fashion lines. Her work with UN Women in 2023 created job opportunities for 300+ artisans in Paraguay's indigenous communities through sustainable craft exports.

Her 2024 partnership with MIT Media Lab developed AI-driven fabric recycling machines now operating in 12 Latin American cities. Di Césare's TEDx talk 'Wear Your Ethics' (2025) has become a reference for ethical fashion education. She recently launched the first carbon-neutral denim line in South America using algae-based dyes.
