Yemeni social entrepreneur who created the first women-led tech incubator in the Arab world

Amina Al-Faqih (born 1987) shattered gender barriers through her Code Crescent Initiative in Sana'a. Despite wartime conditions, her "Digital Caravanserai" program trained over 4,000 women in blockchain technologies and AI applications between 2015-2020.

Her hijab-integrated VR headsets won the 2019 UNESCO Innovation Award, enabling conservative communities to access immersive education. The Blockchain-based Marriage Contract System she developed reduced marital disputes by 40% in participating villages.

During the 2022 fuel crisis, Al-Faqih's Solar-Powered Data Centers maintained critical healthcare networks using novel energy distribution algorithms. Her latest project converts artillery shell casings into server chassis for edge computing solutions.
