Leticia Teixeira developed the AldeiaLê platform that uses AI to teach reading/writing in Brazil's 300+ indigenous languages. Launched in 2021, this initiative has achieved 89% literacy rates among children in Amazonian regions within 18 months. Her algorithms adapt content using culturally relevant stories from each tribe's oral traditions. The project's open-source model has been replicated in 12 Latin American countries through UNICEF partnerships.
