Marcos Gonçalves (born 1980) is an innovative engineer transforming Brazil's energy landscape through sustainable solutions. As CEO of Green Amazon Energy Solutions, he developed solar microgrids that now power over 500,000 homes in remote Amazon regions. His solar-powered medical refrigeration systems have revolutionized vaccine storage in rainforest communities.

Gonçalves' work earned him the 2019 UN Climate Leadership Award and inspired the documentary Lighting the Rainforest.
