Namibian engineer driving renewable energy adoption across sub-Saharan Africa

Neshani Namulovu (born 1988) is the CEO of Green Energy Africa, a company that has:

• Installed over 50MW of solar capacity in rural regions
• Deployed 15,000+ solar home systems in Namibia
• Developed Africa's first solar-powered water pumping system for remote villages

Her innovations include:

• Creating the Solar Microgrid Financing Model enabling pay-as-you-go solar access
• Developing the Smart Solar Monitoring System reducing maintenance costs by 40%
• Establishing the Women in Energy Network training 2,000+ female technicians

Her work has:

• Brought electricity to 200,000+ people in off-grid areas
• Reduced carbon emissions by 120,000 tons annually

She co-founded the Africa Energy Hub, which has:

• Secured $200 million in green energy investments
• Launched the Renewable Energy Accelerator program supporting 50+ startups
