Nigerian immunologist leading breakthrough malaria vaccine development through his nonprofit Malaria No More Nigeria

Obioma Ugochukwu emerged as a global health pioneer through his leadership at Malaria No More Nigeria (MNMN), where he spearheaded the RTS,S malaria vaccine rollout starting in 2021. This initiative has prevented an estimated 500,000 cases annually in Nigeria, Africa's highest malaria burden country. A Harvard-trained immunologist, Ugochukwu developed community-based distribution strategies using mobile health units and AI-driven tracking systems.
