Nigerian agricultural innovator who revolutionized cassava processing

Born in 1978 in Oyo State, Olatubosun Alabi developed West Africa's first solar-powered cassava processing system. His CassavaTech Innovation Hub increased production efficiency by 300% while reducing water usage.

Alabi's breakthrough came when he invented a modular processing unit that converts cassava into premium-grade flour within 4 hours - a process that traditionally took 3 days. This technology earned him the 2019 African Engineering Excellence Award.
