Olatunbosun Tijani

Nigerian tech entrepreneur who revolutionized Africa's innovation ecosystem through co-founding Co-Creation Hub.

Olatunbosun Tijani, a visionary from Nigeria, made a difference by bridging the gap between tech talent and global opportunities in Africa. In 2010, he co-founded Co-Creation Hub (CcHub), Africa's first open living lab and pre-incubation space. CcHub has nurtured over 120 startups, including life-changing ventures like LifeBank (which delivers blood to hospitals) and BudgIT (a civic tech tool for transparency).

His work extends beyond entrepreneurship. Tijani advocated for open data in Nigeria, collaborating with the government to launch the Open Data Initiative in 2014. This platform increased public access to government spending records, fostering accountability.

In 2019, he expanded CcHub to Kenya with a $15 million fund to support East African startups. Tijani also co-founded EdTech Nigeria, which trains 10,000+ youths annually in coding and robotics. His TEDx talk, 'Rebuilding Africa’s Future', highlights his belief in grassroots innovation.
