Rana Dagnache
Jordanian social entrepreneur pioneering impact investing in the Middle East
Rana Dagnache is founder and CEO of Takwin, the first impact investing platform in Jordan focused on supporting social enterprises. Launched in 2019, Takwin has provided over $12M in funding to 45 ventures addressing issues like education inequality, environmental sustainability, and youth unemployment across the MENA region. Her vision combines financial returns with measurable social impact, creating a new model for regional investing.
In 2022, Dagnache introduced the Impact Accelerator Program, providing 12-month training and $50K seed funding to early-stage social enterprises. This initiative has helped scale ventures like Zaytouna Foods, which employs rural women to produce organic olive products, and Solar Jordan, expanding renewable energy access in underserved communities.
Her work earned recognition from Echoing Green, which named her a Global Fellow in 2023. Dagnache's upcoming book 《Building Social Impact in the Arab World》 will share strategies for creating scalable solutions to regional challenges. She also hosts the Impact Talks podcast, featuring innovators from 15+ countries.
