Reem Al-Mansoori

Pioneered Saudi Arabia's tech startup ecosystem as a female founder

Reem Al-Mansoori (b.1985) broke barriers in Saudi Arabia's tech scene by launching Loomi, the kingdom's first female-founded EdTech platform. Starting in 2013 with online coding courses for women, her company now serves 150,000 students and 500 corporate clients. Her inclusive approach created the first Saudi coding bootcamp for visually impaired students. In 2018 she co-founded Women2030, a network connecting 3,000+ Arab women entrepreneurs.

Al-Mansoori's advocacy led to 2019's Women in Technology initiative, which allocated SAR 500 million to female-led tech ventures. Her keynote at WISE Summit on gender diversity in STEM has been translated into 12 languages. Notable milestones include:

  • First Saudi female CEO to secure $5M Series A funding (2017)
  • Established first Arabic AI course for women
  • Partnered with Sabanci University for blockchain education programs
