Jordanian tech entrepreneur promoting women's digital inclusion in the Middle East

Reem Al-Mahasneh (born 1985) is a Jordanian innovator and founder of the tech platform 'Code to Inspire' (CTI), established in 2014 to teach coding skills to Afghan girls. Her initiative began with a coding academy in Herat, Afghanistan, expanding to reach over 5,000 female students by 2019. Al-Mahasneh's 2017 partnership with Google provided scholarships for women to pursue tech careers. She co-authored the UN Women report 'Digital Frontiers: Women in Tech' (2018) and launched the Arab Women in Computing network in 2015.
