Indian tech pioneer creating accessibility tools for 100 million disabled users

Sindhuja Srinivasan is an Indian software engineer whose A11yTech Innovations has transformed digital accessibility in India and beyond. Launching her startup in 2021, she developed the ACCESS platform - an AI-powered toolkit that automatically adapts websites/apps for visually impaired users. Her innovations have enabled over 800 organizations to comply with accessibility standards, including major banks and educational institutions. Sindhuja's Disability Rights India partnership trained 5,000+ developers in inclusive design practices. Her 2023 book 《Designing for Inclusion》 became a bestseller in tech education. She recently launched the AbleJobs portal, connecting disabled professionals with inclusive employers in 15 countries. Her work was recognized by the 2024 UNESCO Digital Inclusion Award.
