Pioneered Nigeria's first AI-powered online learning platform to bridge Africa's education gap

Nigerian innovator Tosin Morain launched EduAfrica in 2016, creating Africa's first artificial intelligence-driven education platform tailored for African students. Born in Lagos, Morain observed that 60% of Nigerian youths lacked access to quality education, inspiring him to develop adaptive learning algorithms that adjust content based on individual progress.

His platform now serves over 500,000 students across 15 African countries with curriculum-aligned courses in STEM, vocational training, and digital literacy. In 2018, EduAfrica partnered with Google's 'Grow with Google' initiative to provide digital skills training, reaching 200,000+ users. Morain's 2019 TED Talk 'Democratizing Education in Africa' has garnered 850k views.

He developed the continent's first AI tutor 'EduBot' that provides 24/7 academic support through SMS and WhatsApp. Recognized as a 'Young Champion of the Earth' by UNEP (2020), his work addresses UNESCO's Sustainable Development Goal 4.
