Lina Al-Abdallat (born 1978) is a Jordanian environmental engineer transforming energy systems across the Arab world. As founder of Green Rock, she developed the first solar-powered water desalination systems for rural communities, addressing both water scarcity and energy dependency. Her Solar for All initiative has installed 50+ community solar grids in Jordan and Palestine, reducing diesel consumption by 80% in beneficiary areas. Al-Abdallat's work inspired Jordan's 2020 renewable energy law, mandating 30% renewable energy by 2030. She co-founded the Arab CleanTech Network, connecting 200+ startups across 15 Arab countries.
