Lindiwe Majele Sigasoga (born 1972) is a visionary South African leader who pioneered digital inclusion strategies across Africa. As former Minister of Communications and current CEO of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), she championed policies like the Connect 2020 Agenda that brought internet access to 500 million Africans by 2020. Her work with the ICT4D Conference transformed how governments approach digital transformation, emphasizing gender equity and rural connectivity.
